A Morning Message Wednesday, May 31, 2017

Categories: Morning Messages

Good Morning! We say goodbye to the month of May.  I received a notice from my running app that I had ran 100 miles this month.  I find this interesting because for awhile I was running 100 miles every month, I have slowed down.  It was a lovely morning to be out, it is so nice for the sun to come up as we run.  I have to say Salem looks much different in light as opposed to street lights.  We have church tonight, hope to see you there!    Have a  blessed day!

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NIV

The Lord himself will come down from heaven to get us.  We will not be forgotten.  There has been much debate over how this happens, but for me the how doesn’t really matter, it is that I am secure in knowing the Lord is coming for me.  When we decide to follow the Lord we will never be left behind.  I hope this verse brings assurance to you.  This isn’t intended to make you worry about if you are in our out, it is to assure you that Jesus is coming for you.  Rest assured in His promise.   Just a thought for today.
