A Morning Message Wednesday, May 3, 2017

Categories: Morning Messages

Good Morning! The rain is back and we still have some leaks.  We had a roofer in yesterday and I think got most of the leaks stopped we still have one.  Yes, I called him this morning and he is on his way.  Persistence may be the only way to get ahead of this.  I am so concerned for folks around our state, please keep those in the flooded areas in your prayers.  I am suppose to be in Dearborn on Sunday evening to deliver an address to the graduating class.  I am praying I can get there.  Be dry out there.   Be a blessing to someone today!

Needed:  We have a family in the community in need of a bed, any size.  If you have one you would donate, please call the office.  Thanks.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.        Romans 12:12 NIV

Faith is a powerful tool.  Faith is acting on what we know to be true, even if we don’t see it at the time.  Hope is the foundation of our Christian faith.  Jesus gifts us with that hope by his resurrection.  Prayers is our opportunity to connect and enter into conversation with God.  Those conversation give support to our faith and give us the strength to keep moving forward.  Paul is reminding the Romans that no matter what is going on in their lives, keep the faith.  Pretty good advice for us as well.   Just my thought for today.
