Good Morning! What a difference a day makes! It was chilly as we ran this morning, but it was great to have the sun up when we finished. Please keep the Missouri Annual Conference in your prayers as we meet this weekend. A great event to gather and be centered as the church in Christ. I hope you will join us tonight as we start that final process of goodbyes. I am not ready, but then again I won’t ever be ready. I am not good at goodbyes, we love you all very much. We have had some wonderful years in Salem. My prayers are that the best years of Salem UMC are yet to come. Have a great week and be blessed!
Time is such an interesting concept. David tells us the for God a thousand years passes like a watch in the night. I have found that as I age time seems to go by much faster. I remember as a child summer vacation going on forever. These next few weeks of life will pass like a whirlwind. However, the point here is that God has this, just keep the faith. We sometimes feel like something will never pass, but God is there. We may want to linger, but God has something more. I pray we can live each day as the blessing it is. God is always with us, our task is to walk and trust in Him. Just a thought for today.
