Good Morning! We have a little break from the rain, but it looks like rain returns tomorrow. Additional rain of course means new flooding, so keep up the prayers. We need for the rain to stop and get this ground dried out. The little trees in front of the church are leaning due to the ground saturation combined with strong wind. I have concern for our big trees given the amount of water and wind we expect. Be careful out there! That being said it should be a great day today, so enjoy. Be a blessing to someone today!
Needed: We have a family in the community in need of a bed, any size. If you have one you would donate, please call the office. Thanks.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15 NIV
I love how John assures us that we can approach God with confidence. Think about that for a moment. This is a post Easter understanding of our relationship with God. It is not a relationship of fear, but of confidence in the love and grace of God. We come into the relationship with humility and love, but with confidence to have a conversation with God. We can ask anything and God welcomes us and hears us. I hope you take advantage of this blessing today. Just my thought for today.
