Good Morning! A sunny and dry day in the Ozarks. We had a great run this morning, fun to have a crew to run with. Carol and I are soon to be running alone in the hills of NW Missouri, what a change. I guess we will have to be looking for a new running club to be a part of. I don’t think the next pastor is a runner, but he might become one. Carol was not a runner when we came to Salem and look at her now. Enjoy a beautiful day! Have a great week and be blessed!

Love is the key. I think we get caught up sometimes in the thought that being more knowledgeable makes us a better Christian. The New Testament confirms again and again this is not the case. The test of a Christian isn’t in what we know but who we know and how we love. The more we love God and the more we love our neighbors the stronger is our bond with Christ. I believe in study and I believe in learning, but they are no substitute for having a loving heart. Just a thought for today.
