Good Morning! It is Friday and the sun is shining! What a great day! We got a run in this morning thanks to dry weather. Carol and I preparing for our first Salem Garage Sale. Everything must go, it literally must go. We are decluttering in a big way. I am so thankful the water is receding. Please continue to keep those suffering from the flood in your prayers. Hope to see you in worship this Sunday! Be a blessing to someone today!.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 NIV
I would love to say that with this verse I never worry or have anxiety. The truth is I think we all experience some of this. The “Good News” is there is something besides medication we can do for this malady. Prayer works wonders! Now, I am not advising you to lay off your meds and expect a miraculous healing. God knows that medication serves a purpose. I am talking about the everyday worry and anxiety that plague many of us. Prayer will give you peace. Jesus Christ waits to some along side us in those times. So, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God. Just my thought for today.
